WCC to host FREE concert featuring Presley Barker & Scythian

In celebration of its 60th Birthday!

Wilkesboro, N.C. – Wilkes Community College is thrilled to invite you to a FREE concert and fireworks display in honor of our 60th birthday! Join us on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at the Doc and Merle Watson Theatre on our picturesque campus for an evening of celebration. This FREE concert is open to WCC alumni, current students, faculty, staff, retirees, and community members.

 

The festivities begin at 5:00 p.m., with gates opening to welcome you. Local favorite Presley Barker will kick off the evening at 6:00 p.m. with a dynamic performance, setting the stage for a memorable night. The high-energy band, Scythian will take the spotlight at 7:00 p.m., delivering a vibrant and captivating show. The evening will culminate in a stunning fireworks display, lighting up the night sky and providing a spectacular finale to our celebration.

 

A variety of food trucks will be on-site throughout the evening, offering a range of delicious options for purchase. Don’t miss this chance to be part of the festivities and celebrate with us as we look forward to many more years of service and community engagement!
