There is a Severe Shortage of Blood, Plasma & Platelets
PLEASE CONSIDER GIVING THE GIFT OF LIFE
IN RECENT WEEKS, A DECLINE IN DONATIONS HAS CAUSED THE AMERICAN RED CROSS BLOOD SUPPLY TO SHRINK NEARLY 20%. THIS DROP IN DONATIONS COULD LEAD TO A SEASONAL BLOOD SHORTAGE, WHICH CAN NEGATIVELY IMPACT PATIENT CARE AT HOSPITALS ACROSS THE COUNTRY.

Red Cross is currently at Emergency Shelters set up at: First Christian Church in Mountain City at 401 West Maine / Holmes Convocation Center in Boone at 111 River Street / West Wilkes Middle School
Old Barn Winery Trolley will be shuttling people TODAY, Oct. 3 from Lansing to Ashe County High School Emergency Shelter (and back to Lansing) for showers, charging stations, meals, etc. The trolley pick-up times in Lansing (across from Lansing Fire Dept): 3pm, 4pm, 5pm, 6 pm
