AMOREM Team Receives Two Awards at Asheville Conference

Lenoir – AMOREM’s Director of Public Relations Lisa Caviness, and Digital Content Specialist Molly Fitzgerald, attended the annual Carolinas Healthcare Public Relations and Marketing Society (CHPRMS) 2023 Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop conference where they received two awards for their team’s marketing efforts. CHPRMS members compete in more than a dozen categories and a panel of marketing and communications professionals choose award winners each year.

AMOREM’s public relations and marketing team plays a key role in providing education and resources to patients, families and communities served. All content produced by the team is created with AMOREM’s mission to provide quality, thoughtful, loving care to patients and support to their families and to offer education and grief support to communities served at the forefront of each campaign.

“Our team puts a tremendous amount of time and thought into each campaign that we launch,” says Fitzgerald, “It is such an honor to see that these campaigns have a genuine impact on our communities and that our mission is really driven home through each marketing move that we make. It’s wonderful to see our creativity solving problems, helping people and building our community.”

The AMOREM team was awarded two Wallie awards for the organization’s Veteran Voices Podcast and for the Our Gift is an Act of Love print advertising campaign. Veteran Voices supports the stories of armed force veterans within AMOREM’s community, whether they be patients, volunteers, staff members or family members. Our Gift is an Act of Love supports AMOREM’s Quality. Compassion. Support. campaign to bring a patient care unit to the High Country community.

“Our team is excited and humbled by the recognition from our peers in healthcare marketing throughout the Carolinas,” says Caviness. “It is truly an honor to promote the excellence delivered by the entire AMOREM team.”

During the 3-day conference in Asheville, Caviness and Fitzgerald attended multiple breakout sessions and workshops with industry leaders. Sessions included information about building meaningful campaigns, tracking data and analytics, storytelling techniques and many more industry-relevant courses.

“We always return from the annual CHPRMS conference with books full of notes and new ideas that we can’t wait to bring to fruition,” says Fitzgerald, “We have already implemented several new findings from our conference and we are excited to watch our community engage with our new content to learn how AMOREM can support them and their loved ones.”

“AMOREM is so fortunate to have both Lisa and Molly on staff,” said Kerri McFalls, vice president of community engagement for AMOREM. “They are both so extremely talented and their dedication to AMOREM’s mission is evident in the quality of work they produced. They are both very deserving of their awards and I’m extremely proud of them both.”
