Wilkesboro, N.C. – An intimate night of music filled the air as The Walker Center presented the first-ever performance of The Lakey Ballroom Series, featuring Presley Barker. This dinner-theater-style approach was well received by the attendees. Donors who contributed to The Next Act Campaign for The Walker Center were recognized.

The next Lakey Ballroom Series event is scheduled for Saturday, September 28 – a Murder Mystery called ‘Cruisin for Clues’ where our attendees will “step on board” the ship for a night to remember, complete with a delicious surf and turf dinner featuring steak and salmon, all served in a dinner theater-style performance.
