Wilkes Chamber Announces Inaugural Clay Classic Fundraiser at the New Hidden Brook Sporting Club

North Wilkesboro, NC — The Wilkes Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce its First Annual Wilkes Chamber Clay Classic, set to take place on Thursday, September 25, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. This exciting event marks not only the Chamber’s first clay shooting tournament, but also the public’s first opportunity to experience a tournament at the brand-new Hidden Brook Sporting Club, a shooting facility recently opened in North Wilkesboro. The facility is one-of-a-kind in the region, with no comparable venues for miles, making this tournament a must-attend for outdoor sports enthusiasts across Northwest North Carolina.

The 2025 Wilkes Chamber Clay Classic is presented by Tyson Foods, a valued partner and longtime supporter of the Wilkes Chamber. The event serves as a fundraiser benefiting both the Wilkes Chamber of Commerce and the Wilkes Chamber Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Proceeds will support the Chamber’s mission to promote business growth and economic vitality throughout Wilkes County as well as the Foundation’s mission to fund youth leadership development programs, educational opportunities and awards.

 “We’re excited to bring something new and fun to the region while also supporting the important work our Chamber and Foundation are doing in the Wilkes community,” said Chamber President Cindy Thompson “This will be an unforgettable event.”
