Wesley Samuel Pennington Apprehended Monday March 14th

At approximately 7:00 pm Monday, March 14th Ashe County Sheriff’s Office deputies apprehended subject Wesley Samuel Pennington.   Alongside, the Ashe County Sheriff’s Office NC Hwy Patrol assisted with helicopter patrol and the US Marshalls assisted as well. Two Ashe County Sheriff’s Office vehicles were damaged during the ongoing pursuit.  Wesley was brought to the Ashe County Sheriff’s Office and was booked with the following charges with no bond.

  • Felony Assault with Deadly Weapon
  • Felony Flee/Elude Arrest with a motor vehicle
  • Felony Post Release Supervision and Parol Violation
