On July 25, 2023, Caddell Broadcasting, Inc., licensee of Radio Station WKSK-AM, 580 kilohertz at West Jefferson, North Carolina and FM Translator Station W228CW, 93.5 megahertz at West Jefferson, North Carolina, filed an application with the Federal Communications Commission ("FCC") for the transfer of control of the company from Jan Caddell, deceased, to Edgar Graham Caddell and Charlotte Caddell Thompson.
