WCC Announces Marshals for 2025 Commencement Ceremony

WCC Announces Marshals for 2025 Commencement Ceremony

WILKESBORO, N.C. – Wilkes Community College has announced the student marshals for its 59th Annual Commencement Ceremony, recognizing those with the highest academic achievement. The ceremony will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at the John A. Walker Community Center on the Wilkes Campus.

 

Two separate ceremonies will be held to honor the graduating students. Graduates from the Applied Career Technology Division and the Health Sciences Division will participate in the 4 p.m. ceremony. Graduates from the Arts and Sciences Division and the Business and Public Service Technology Division (BPST) will be recognized during the 7 p.m. ceremony. The public is invited to view the ceremonies via live stream at www.wilkescc.edu/Graduation.  

 

The following students have been named marshals for the 2025 Commencement Ceremony:

 

Michelle Toledo, of Jefferson, enrolled in the Associate in Science program. She is the daughter of Nestor and Bleydis Maria Toledo of Jefferson.

 

James Tatum Lee Lane, of Hays, enrolled in the Welding Technology Diploma program. He is the son of Ronnie Lee Lane and Melody Sparks of Hays.         

 

DiElla Elizabeth Ward, of Roaring River, enrolled in the Associate in Science program. She is the daughter of David Ward and Kimberly Ukuzato of Roaring River.

 

Anna Lucia Tilley, of North Wilkesboro, enrolled in the Associate in Arts program. She is the daughter of Terry Tilley of Elkin and Maria Tilley of North Wilkesboro.

 

Jade Hunter Wood, of Thurmond, enrolled in the Associate in Arts Teacher Preparation program. She is the daughter of Maj Anne Wood of Thurmond.

 

Salem Brooke Adams, of North Wilkesboro, enrolled in the Associate in Science program. She is the daughter of Andrew Terry Wagoner and Christy Michelle Wagoner of North Wilkesboro.
