Volleyball to Host Dig Pink Match on October 17

BOONE, N.C. – App State volleyball will be hosting a Dig Pink match on October 17 against ULM to support the Side-Out Foundation. First serve is slated for 12:30 p.m.

Fans attending the game are encouraged to wear pink.

App State volleyball has set a fundraising goal of $2,000. The proceeds from all donations will benefit the Side-Out Foundation, a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Fairfax, VA. Side-Out dedicates the majority of donations to their own metastatic breast cancer research. In addition to research, Side-Out allocates a portion of their funds to high-quality support services for cancer patients and their families, as well as college scholarships for students who participate in the Ambassador Program.
