Sixth Annual Ashe Bash June 6th, 2026
JEFFERSON, NC – The Ashe County Chamber of Commerce is excited to present the sixth annual Coolest Corner Ashe Bash, a free, family-friendly music event that will take place on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at the Ashe County Government Complex in Jefferson.
Ashe Bash has become a much-anticipated tradition in the Coolest Corner, bringing residents and visitors together for an evening of live music, community spirit, and summer celebration. This year’s event will feature The Kruger Brothers starting at 6:00 pm, followed by Fireside
Collective beginning at 8:00 pm.
The Kruger Brothers, including brothers Jens and Uwe Kruger and bassist Joel Landsberg, have performed together since 1990 and are based in North Carolina. Known for their accomplished musicianship and longstanding contributions to acoustic music, the trio has built an international following through decades of performance and recording.
Following The Kruger Brothers, Asheville-based Fireside Collective will take the stage with its progressive bluegrass sound. Formed in 2014, the band earned early recognition by winning the 2016 Band Contest at MerleFest and has continued to build a strong following with its
energetic style and contemporary approach to roots music.
“Ashe Bash has become such a special tradition for our community,” said Kitty Honeycutt, Executive Director of the Ashe County Chamber of Commerce. “Each year, it gives us an opportunity to bring people together through outstanding live music while also showcasing the
hospitality, natural beauty, and community that make Ashe County so special. We’re excited to welcome everyone back for another memorable evening in the Coolest Corner!” Honeycutt added.
Starting at 5:00 pm, food vendors will be on site, and free shuttles will run from designated parking lots at the Ashe County Civic Center, Ashe County High School, and Ashe Memorial Hospital. Guests are encouraged to bring a chair. Please note that alcohol and pets are not
permitted.
