Plans for LifeStore in Warrensville

Wednesday, September 19, 2018

Following the fire at LifeStore Bank on Tuesday, September 18, Michaela DuVall and Chuck Thompson will be back at work on Thursday. Michaela is working at the West Jefferson location and Chuck is in Jefferson. They wish to thank everyone for their concern and invite all their customers to stop by these locations.

LifeStore customers who frequent the Warrensville location can conduct their banking business at any of the LifeStore locations; which include: West Jefferson, Mt. Jefferson Road, Jefferson or the location in Boone.

Once the necessary inspections are completed we can make arrangements to recover any contents. We appreciate all of the support Warrensville and the surrounding communities have shown toward our employees and LifeStore. “It’s a pleasure to be in communities where your service is valued like it is in Warrensville,” said Judy Current, LifeStore VP of Marketing and Public Relations. “It appears the building cannot be used and at this time we have a lot of questions that have to be answered. We will issue a statement about our plans when we know more.”

LifeStore dates back to 1939 when its founders saw the need for a local building and loan association to help people purchase or build new homes. Today LifeStore Bank operates locations in Ashe and Watauga Counties and insurance offices in those counties as well as Alleghany, Wilkes, Surry and Caldwell Counties.
