FORMER ASHE COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL TEACHER AND COACH, RONNIE PRUITT IS COLLECTING ITEMS FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN AFFECTED BY HURRICANE FLORENCE. THESE DONATIONS CAN BE DELIVERED TO THE FIELD-HOUSE AT ASHE COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL BY MID-MORNING THIS THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 20TH.

 

ITEMS NEEDED INCLUDE…BOTTLED WATER, ALL TOILETRIES INCLUDING TOOTHBRUSHES AND TOOTHPASTE, DEODORANT, ALL CLEANING SUPPLIES, FLASHLIGHTS, BATTERIES, DIAPERS AND UNDERWEAR FOR ALL SIZES. NON-PERISHABLE FOOD ITEMS, CAN FRUIT AND VEGETABLES, PEANUT BUTTER, BUG SPRAY AND ANY MONETARY DONATIONS WILL BE APPRECIATED.

 

DONATIONS CAN BE DROPPED OFF AT THE FIELDHOUSE AT THE HIGH SCHOOL STARTING (TOMORROW), WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 19TH FROM 8am-6:30pm AND THURSDAY MORNING UNTIL 10am. DONATIONS WILL ALSO BE COLLECTED AT THE HOME SOCCER GAME WEDNESDAY NIGHT vs. WILKES CENTRAL.
