BOONE, N.C. — The Sun Belt Conference announced Thursday that App State Football’s two West Division league opponents for the 2025 season are Arkansas State, which will travel to Kidd Brewer Stadium, and Southern Miss, which will host the Mountaineers in Hattiesburg, Miss.
All 12 of App State’s regular-season opponents are now official. The dates for the Mountaineers’ eight conference games will be announced by the Sun Belt no later than March 1.
App State will be hosting Arkansas State for the third time, following midweek appearances in Boone from the Red Wolves in 2015 and 2020 (with a reduced stadium capacity for fans). The Mountaineers’ only previous trip to Southern Miss was a nonconference matchup in 2014, App State’s first FBS season.
Each of the conference’s 14 programs plays one home game and one away game against a cross-divisional foe each season — and will play every team in the other division at least once every four years. In addition to its six East Division games in the new-look Sun Belt, App State faced two West Division teams in 2022 (Troy, Texas State), 2023 (ULM, Southern Miss) and 2024 (South Alabama, Louisiana).
Arkansas State joins Lindenwood, Oregon State, Coastal Carolina, Georgia Southern and Marshall as teams scheduled to play in Boone during the 2025 season. The Mountaineers open the season against Charlotte in Bank of America Stadium on Aug. 28, then host FCS-level Lindenwood for a Sept. 6 home opener. The other two nonconference games are a trip to Boise State on Sept. 27, followed by the Oct. 4 home date with Oregon State.
App State’s road schedule in 2025 also includes visits to Sun Belt East Division foes Georgia State, James Madison and Old Dominion.
Season ticket holders can now renew their season tickets online to Pack The Rock in 2025.
The 2025 season ticket renewal and parking request deadline is March 31. Parking allocation will begin at the start of May, allocated by membership level and then rank within that level. Parking requests are not guaranteed as lots are expected to be at full capacity again in 2025 (click here for more details and the parking map).

2025 SEASON TICKET PRICES
Season tickets for the 2025 slate at Kidd Brewer Stadium cost $280 for anyone 3 years and older and $260 for current App State faculty/staff (limit of 2). Season tickets are $430 in the Gold section and the East VIP section. New this year, there is a $5 upcharge for aisle seats. A payment plan is available for season tickets (payments can be made through April 2025).
The cost of a season ticket represents a savings of up to 38% versus the cost of purchasing six single-game tickets individually ($280 versus $450).

2025 ROAD GAMES
Tickets for App State’s road games will be made available for purchase to season ticket holders first, when and if they become available. App State will play nonconference road games against Charlotte (Thursday, Aug. 28, at Bank of America Stadium) and Boise State (Sept. 27), plus Sun Belt road games against Georgia State, James Madison, Old Dominion and Southern Miss.
