BOONE—Rumple Memorial Presbyterian Church of Blowing Rock recently hosted Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care’s 2019 Annual Memorial Service. Family members and friends joined Caldwell Hospice staff and volunteers to remember the lives of 144 patients served from January 1 through December 31, 2018.
Caldwell Hospice bereavement coordinator Kimberly Setzer, MSW, LCSW shared thoughts from Hospice; Caldwell Hospice chaplains Rev. Lance Perry, Rev. Roger Newton and Rev. Sherrill German, volunteer chaplain Rev. Laura Weant, and Rev. Kathy Beach joined staff to remember each patient served then shared encouraging words. Staff and volunteers welcomed families and shared memories throughout the afternoon. Special music was provided by Evan Adair and Caldwell Hospice board member Tamra Starnes.
