BSB: Friday Baseball Game Moved from Charlotte to Boone

BOONE, N.C. — Tonight’s baseball game between Appalachian State and Gardner-Webb has been moved from Charlotte to Boone, with first pitch scheduled for 7 p.m. at Jim and Bettie Smith Stadium.

The three-game series is now also scheduled to conclude Saturday with a 2 p.m. doubleheader in Boone.

The changes to the series are related to weekend weather forecasts for Charlotte and Boone. App State is no longer scheduled to play a game in Charlotte this season.

Tickets purchased through the Charlotte Knights for an App State game in Charlotte can be exchanged for an outfield seat to a 2019 Charlotte Knights regular season game (Sunday through Wednesday) or another game in the 2019 Sunbelt Rentals Collegiate Baseball Series (except the N.C. State/South Carolina game on April 2 or the South Carolina/North Carolina game on April 16).

All ticket exchanges must be done in person at the BB&T Ballpark Ticket Office. For additional information and questions, please contact the BB&T Ballpark Ticket Office at 704-274-8282.

App State season ticket holders can bring the ticket for Sunday’s originally scheduled game in Boone to tonight’s game. Tickets for Saturday’s game would be good for both games Saturday.
