Hello friends!! I must say that I missed our daily chats last week, so I’m glad to be back. Hope you used your time to renew, refresh and recharge and that you are energized to begin Day 10 of required instruction. Students—I am so proud of everything you have done thus far—you’ve worked hard and you’re on the right track. Your teachers have very creative in providing you instructional materials you need to continue your education. Don’t give up now—believe you can and you’re halfway there. Strive for progress, not perfection. Remember—your teachers are there to help you—please reach out to them.
Day 19 for CN—our cafeteria ladies and bus driver heroes are back. 1726 breakfast and 1726 lunch meals were served and delivered today.
Okay—are you ready for the answer to the last riddle before Spring Break? (The more you take, the more you leave behind. What am I?) If you said footsteps, then you are correct. Good job everyone.
Today’s riddle. When things go wrong, what can you always count on?
More about our animal friend the polar bear. Just like our friends the penguins, polar bears are also high profile—from starring in Coco-Cola commercials to becoming the poster child for climate change to appearing in lots of children’s books. Though you might see polar bears and penguins together in Coca-Cola commercials, the two species never mix in real life. They live at opposite ends of the Earth. Polar bears live only in the Artic, while penguins only live in the Southern Hemisphere. There is also an International Polar Bear Day on February 27. Stay tuned for more fun facts about polar bears.
Let’s get back into our routines so we can stay on top of our game. Hang in there and don’t give up because I believe in you. Hope you rest well tonight.
