Ashe County Schools BOE elected members announced

Congratulations to Josh Roten and Teresa Calhoun on their election to the Ashe County Board of Education. Surrounded by their families on Monday at the historic courtroom at the Museum of Ashe County History, they were sworn in by Pam Barlow, the county’s retiring Clerk of Superior Court. Roten — also elected to serve as BOE Chairman once again — has been a member of the Board since 2020, while Calhoun begins her first term. We also congratulate BOE member Dianne Eldreth, who was elected as Vice Chair.
