The Ashe County Chamber of Commerce announces that with the generous support of donors locally and across the country, the Ashe County Advantage Project’s Strength Meets Hope grant program has awarded $220,000 to small businesses in Ashe County to aid in recovery from Hurricane Helene. To date, grants have been awarded to 35 qualifying small businesses with ten or fewer employees. Ashe County Advantage Project, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, is still accepting donations and grant applications. Because many unmet needs remain for businesses in recovery, this is the perfect time to remember Ashe Advantage for year-end charitable giving.
