BOONE, N.C. — As fundraising efforts continue to help App State Athletics reach new heights, the development office is being renamed the Mountaineers Athletic Fund and will feature a simplified structure for its annual fund and philanthropic giving components.
The Mountaineers Athletic Fund raises support for App State student-athletes across 17 intercollegiate sports. It is comprised of two main components (details in the chart below):
“We want to provide our fans with the best customer experience possible, and with that, it is important for our development office’s name and mission to be clear and recognizable,” said Doug Gillin, App State Director of Athletics. “This rebrand, along with our partnership with Paciolan, will streamline and simplify the membership experience. We look forward to enhancing our relationship with longtime supporters and welcoming many new members to the App Family at every level.”
The Yosef Club has served as the Mountaineers’ annual giving organization for more than 45 years and will remain a vital part of efforts to fund student-athlete scholarships and provide a world-class Division I college athletics experience. Multiple membership levels are available so that every App State fan can be involved.
Leadership Society gifts to the Mountaineers Athletic Fund include philanthropic gifts of $25,000 or more. These contributions can be satisfied through outright gifts or multiyear commitments and are critical for enhancing our facilities, endowing scholarships and funding other major projects.
Coming soon, App State fans and supporters will enjoy an enhanced online experience that will include a new Mountaineers Athletic Fund website with full integration between fans’ donor information and ticket purchases via Paciolan.
