CBS WINS ANOTHER RATINGS BATTLE
NEW YORK (AP) – It’s a battle that seems a little less important with each passing year – but that’s isn’t stopping CBS for taking a victory lap in the ratings game. The network has finished the 2020-21 TV season as the nation’s most watched network. It’s the 13th straight time it has taken the honor. But with an increasing number of people drifting from network programming to streaming services, the Nielsen numbers don’t carry as much clout as they did in years past.
DABABY QUESTIONED IN MIAMI SHOOTING, TWO ARRESTED
MIAMI (AP) – Police have charged two suspects with attempted murder in a shooting that wounded two people in Miami Beach. But DaBaby is not in trouble with authorities in this case. The rapper was questioned after the Monday shooting, one of three to hit the Miami area over the Memorial Day weekend. But he was released and authorities say they feel everyone they believe was involved is now in custody.

WASHINGTON (AP) – Through much of his one term in office, President Donald Trump called reporters “enemies of the people.” Now that he’s out of office, we’re hearing about the extent Trump felt that way about those who covered him. The New York Times reports the Justice Department got hold of phone records of four of its reporters. It’s the third time in the past month that a news media organization has disclosed that the Feds seized records of journalists to identify leaks of Trump administration officials.
