“GAME OF THRONES” STAR SUES MARILYN MANSON, CLAIMING SEX, OTHER ABUSE
LOS ANGELES (AP) – “Game of Thrones” actor Esme Bianco is suing Marilyn Manson, saying the rock star sexually, physically and emotionally abused her. The suit was filed Friday in Los Angeles. In it, Bianco says Manson broke human trafficking laws when he brought her from England to the U.S. to be in music videos and music that never came to pass. Instead she says Manson deprived of of food and drink, gave her drugs and booze – and abused her. Manson’s attorney says the claims are “provably false.”

VETERAN ACTOR OLYMPIA DUKAKIS DIES
MAPLEWOOD, N.J. (AP) – A popular Oscar-winning actress has died. Olympia Dukakis died Saturday at her New York City home, according to her agent. No cause of death was released. But in a statement, her family said she’d been in poor health for months. Dukakis had a flair for maternal roles, like the one that earned her an Oscar in 1988. She played Cher’s mom in the rom-com “Moonstruck.” Cher won best actress the same year. Olympia Dukakis was 89.

JOSH DUGGAR FACES CHILD PORNOGRAPHY CHARGES
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) – We now know what led to the Feds arresting former reality TV star Josh Duggar last week. Prosecutors in Arkansas have indicted him on charges of downloading and possessing child pornography. The announcement was made Friday, a day after Duggar was arrested. Duggar has pleaded not guilty. His detention hearing is set for Wednesday – and he has a July 6 trial date. If found guilty, Duggar could get up to 20 years in prison – and fines up to $250,000 for each count against him.

“NOMADLAND” LOCATIONS ATTRACT MOVIE FANS
RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) – It’s a different kind of “Oscar bump,” for sure. Instead of an Academy Award win increasing box office sales, last month’s “Nomadland” victory is a boost for tourism in South Dakota. For example, the cowboy-themed roadside attraction Wall Drug Store saw a 114% increase in sales over 2019, while year-to-date for 2020 shows a 92% increase. Wall Chairman Rick Hustead says he would have been happy if “Nomadland” had given just a 10% boost.

CAITLYN JENNER OPPOSES TRANSGENDER GIRLS COMPETING IN GIRLS SPORTS
LOS ANGELES (AP) – Caitlyn Jenner says she’s against transgender girls competing in girls’ sports at school. And her remarks may not win her many backers among others in the transgender community. The former Olympic champion and reality TV show star tells a TMZ reporter her position is “a question of fairness.” Jenner announced she was a transgender woman in 2015. Many transgender-rights advocates have criticized her, saying she has failed to convince them that she’s a major asset to their cause.
