LOS ANGELES SHERIFF INVESTIGATING (hash)METOO ACTRESS
NEW YORK (AP) – Los Angeles authorities say they will investigate an alleged incident involving an actor who claims an Italian actress at the forefront of the MeToo movement sexually assaulted him when he was 17. Los Angeles County sheriff’s Captain Darren Harris says no police report was filed at the time of the alleged incident in 2013 involving actress Asia Argento. The New York Times reports Argento, who is 42, settled the notice of intent to sue filed by Jimmy Bennett, who is now 22, for $380,000. Bennett says in the notice he was traumatized after he had sex with Argento in 2013 when he was underage. He says it ruined his career. Argento said in October that movie mogul Harvey Weinstein had raped her, a charge he has denied.

JESSICA BIEL IS NERVOUS ABOUT WINNING AN EMMY
NEW YORK (AP) – Jessica Biel has no problem acting the part of a troubled young mother accused of murder. It’s standing up in front of people and talking that’s got her sweating. Biel is nominated for an Emmy for best lead actress in a limited series for her role in the USA Network show “The Sinner.” Biel says she’s nervous about winning because she’s a bad public speaker. She says she doesn’t know if it’s worse to win and have to read off a piece of paper, or to lose and be embarrassed that she’s carrying a piece of paper around.
