WARNER BROS. CHIEF STEPS DOWN AFTER SEXUAL MISCONDUCT CLAIMS

NEW YORK (AP) – Add another name to the list of prominent Hollywood types exposed by the (hash)MeToo movement. Warner Bros. chief Kevin Tsujihara has left the studio in the wake of claims he promised roles to an actress with whom he was having an affair. His demise makes him one of the highest ranking Hollywood execs caught in a time of reckoning for those involved in sexual misconduct. Warner launched a probe earlier this month into a Hollywood Reporter story about text messages between Tsujihara and British actress Charlotte Kirk dating back to 2013. The messages suggested their sexual relationship was contingent on promises that he’d introduce her to top execs – and that she’d be considered for roles in movies and TV.

REPORT: NATIONAL ENQUIRER PAID FOR TEXTS BETWEEN BEZOS AND MISTRESS

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) – We’re learning more about how the National Enquirer got its mitts on intimate texts between Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos and his mistress. The Wall Street Journal reports the Enquirer’s publisher paid $200,000 to Lauren Sanchez’s brother for the texts. The Journal’s finding dovetails with a conclusion drawn by private investigators working for Bezos last month. That probe reportedly found that Michael Sanchez leaked the texts to the Enquirer, although it was unclear who paid for them. Bezos claims the Enquirer’s parent company, American Media Incorporated, threatened to publish explicit photos of him unless he stopped investigating how the Enquirer got his private exchanges – and publicly declared the Enquirer’s coverage of him was not politically motivated.

MEGHAN McCAIN CALLS OUT TRUMP

LOS ANGELES (AP) – Meghan McCain isn’t one to take Twitter attacks against her late father lying down – especially when they are from President Donald Trump. She says Trump’s life is “pathetic” – and that he should spend more time with his family instead of obsessing over hers. Over the weekend, Trump attacked John McCain for his role in the Russian investigation – and falsely claimed the late senator was “last in his class” at the U.S. Naval Academy. Speaking on “The View,” Megan McCain said Trump “will never be a great man,” and is using attacks on her dad to make himself look better.

DONNA BRAZILE JOINS FOX NEWS

NEW YORK (AP) – Former Democratic National Committee chief Donna Brazile says she’s sure she’ll have to deal with some flak from members of her party – now that she has joined Fox News Channel as a political commentator. But Brazile says these days, it’s important that people not just hunker down in “safe spaces” where they only listen to those who agree with them. Brazile used to work at CNN – where she drew attention during the 2016 presidential campaign by tipping off Hillary Clinton’s campaign about what topics would be covered in a town hall session in which she faced off against rival Bernie Sanders.

Both are charged with felony drug possession and misdemeanor unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Mama June Shannon is the mom of “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson, who was in a reality TV show on TLC.
