NEW YORK (AP) – A woman who says R. Kelly engaged in sexual misconduct with her says the singer wrote her a letter threatening to reveal embarrassing details of her sex life if she didn’t drop her lawsuit against him. The woman, Faith Rogers, says she received a letter from someone identifying himself as R. Kelly, warning her attorney that if she pressed forward with the lawsuit, she’d be “subjected to public opinion.” The letter also said R. Kelly would demand medical documentation of her claim that he gave her herpes – and that she’d be forced to turn over texts and social media post and have – quoting the letter her – “10 personal male witnesses testifying under oath about her sex life.” An attorney for R. Kelly in Chicago denied the authenticity, saying it “looks fake.” Rogers is one of the women who was in the recently aired Lifetime documentary “Surviving R. Kelly,” which catalogued years of accusations against the singer. Kelly has denied any wrongdoing.

FALLS CHURCH, Va. (AP) – Rose McGowan has now settled a drug case stemming from a visit to Washington D.C. two years ago. Court records say she has pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor drug charge – and agreed to pay a $2,500 fine and accept a suspended jail sentence. The case stems from a case in which she left her wallet on a flight – and it was found to have contained cocaine. She was originally charged with a felony that could have carried jail time – but the plea deal cut the charge down to a misdemeanor. McGowan, among other things, suggested the drugs could have been planted by operatives of Harvey Weinstein. The actress was one of the first to accuse the disgraced Hollywood producer of sexual assault. McGowan tells radio station WTOP she entered the plea because she “just wanted it to be over.”

He went on Twitter to ask if anyone knows who broke into his car – to see if they’d return the script. Grant also says his kids’ medical cards were also missing.
