Results from last weeks meet at Forbush on 3/26 against Forbush, Surry Central, North Wilkes, and Wilkes Central.

 

Personal best performances by:

 

Pablo Barcenas in the 100m

Junior Barcenas in the 100m

Eric Perez-Denza in the 100m

Eric Guijosa in the 100m and 400m

Sebastian Holbrook in the 200m

Will Russell in the 200m

Traythan Powers in the 400m

Gael Guijosa in the 400m

Sam Pyles in the 800m

John-David Lea in the High Jump

Jude Tilley in the Discus also winning both discus and shot and qualifying for regionals in the Discus.

 

Other Notable Performances:

Ian Graybeal placed second in the 100m dash

Sawyer Greene won the 110m Hurdles

The Boys 4x800m relay team won. That team consisted of Garrett Oller, Carlos Araujo, Sam Pyles, and Owen Roten

Sam Hess placed third in Discus

The girls 4x800m relay team won. That team consisted of Abby Bingham, Emily Lewis, Josie Franca, and Evie Pyles

Alexis Rollins won the long jump

Gracie Finley won the pole vault

Dakota Peterman, Abigail Miller, Lanie Bowers, and Natalie Carpenter placed 1-4 in the discus respectively

Abigail Miller, Dakota Peterman, Natalie Carpenter placed 1-3 in the shot put respectively.

 

Ashe county will be at home this Wednesday the 2nd to face off against Alexander Central, Avery, East Wilkes, Freedom, Johnson County TN, North Wilkes, and West Wilkes.

We will travel to AC Reynolds this Saturday for an invitational.
