Caddell...Jan, who celebrated 50 years of broadcasting last October, chats each morning with people from throughout
the community. The arts, county government, school activities, the chamber of commerce and numerous non-profit
organizations use the time to inform the community and promote local activities. The program has been airing since
1968. |

"Moose" Powers…Hi, this is Mike Powers, aka "Moose" Mike in the morning", wishing
you a great day! I've been a member of the WKSK family since 1983 and enjoy the time we share together more with
each passing day. What does a guy named "Moose" do? He loves spending time with family and friends, hunting,
fishing, camping and spending every available moment in god's great outdoors! Thanks for listening! |

Roland- I’m Nathan Roland, program director here at 580 WKSK. I’ve been with WKSK since 1998. Join me midday’s

Caddell…We all "Love Lucy" - she handles our payroll and keeps the company bills paid. She modestly
admits she's the "ruling force" behind the company. Not a bad cook either! |

Schaffer…Hi, I'm Linda Schaffer. I've been with WKSK since 1988. In addition to sales, I make sure the Birthday
Salute, Pet Patrol, Community Calendar, Trading Post & other announcements get on the air…especially the "Snow
Bird" report! There is no school today! |

 Hey what's up? Thanks for
checking out our website. How does my hair look? I really enjoy being on the air and relating to the needs of our
listeners as well as producing and writing commercials. Harassing Powers and Nathan is fun too. My hobbies include
playing the drums and writing and recording original 80's music.
My number one passion in life is preaching the Word
of God by using an expository "verse by verse"
approach. I also enjoy studying prophecy, theology,
the original Greek and Hebrew languages, and church

Weddington...as
Traffic Director, I work closely with our sales
staff to schedule advertising and other announcements
for DJs to air daily. This gives me an opportunity
to not only tell our guys what to do, but when to
do it!! Radio is a new profession for me. After
20+ years of administrative work in Cabarrus County,
I look forward to serving the Ashe County communities.
I'm a wife, mother, and grandmother of four so family
is a priority and I am blessed to be part of the
WKSK family. Keep on listening! |
