Ashe Memorial Hospital in Jefferson, North Carolina was recently named one of the Top 100
Critical Access Hospitals in the United States by The Chartis Center for Rural Health. There
are 1,343 Critical Access Hospital’s in the United States and 20 in North Carolina.
